Great to meet you!

Jena Simon is a double board-certified nurse practitioner in psychiatric mental health and family health, holding a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She provides a comprehensive, integrative psychiatry approach that supports both emotional and physical well-being. With advanced clinical training and a whole-person philosophy, Dr. Simon partners with adults to identify and treat the root causes of mental health concerns. Her care includes an eclectic mix of therapeutic techniques, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, personalized medication management, and guidance to enhance physical and metabolic health—all tailored to promote lasting, meaningful wellness. Dr. Simon welcomes adults who are ready to take an active, collaborative role in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

Intake Visit: A one-hour session to assess symptoms and history and begin a treatment plan.

Follow-up Visits: Appointments will be scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes. To remain active, appointments are required every 3 months. Monthly appointments are required for to refill controlled substances.

Office Policies:

Before prescribing, I may require medical records and/or medical clearance from your primary care provider.

No-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a $200 fee for 60-minute appointments and a $100 fee for 30-minute appointments.

What you can expect from me

In our initial sessions, we will get to know each other. I want to understand your feelings and your treatment goals. We will review your mental and physical health history, and I will ask you many questions about significant life events and relationships. I understand that trust builds slowly, so if you have experienced trauma or find it difficult to open up, don't worry—we will proceed at your own pace. We will assess how you are doing in each session and discuss your next steps.
