Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Jenae -- therapist, coffee enthusiast, and believer in you! I’m a real human being that genuinely cares about helping people make sense of what’s been too heavy for too long.

I help people work through trauma, anxiety, and depression so they can stop feeling like they are living in survival mode and start feeling present again. I work with people to untangle the pain, fear, or sadness that’s been running their lives.

My approach to therapy

Helping others is my passion, so I will be dedicated to work with you to reach your goals for therapy. My approach is calm and collaborative. We can go at your pace, and we’ll use tools that help — such as EMDR, mindfulness, and helping your body and brain work together.

Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you.

You’re not broken.

It’s about helping your mind and body finally feel safe enough to start healing.

What you can expect from me

It is best for me to get to know you and find out what you desire to get out of therapy, during your first session. Typically, this will take up your first session, but it may lead into your second session as well. It is ok if you feel you need more time before building your coping skill tool box or processing your emotions/thoughts.
