Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor within the states of Florida and Delaware. I have dual-Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Forensic Psychology. Therapy can feel intimidating, but if you’re here, you’ve already taken an important first step. I work with individuals and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and substance use challenges. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, helping you find the tools and support that feel most effective for your growth into becoming your authentic self. In addition to psychotherapy, I provide EMDR treatment (EMDRIA approved) to help those with trauma and additional concerns. I am a certified specialist with First Responders, including, but not limited to firefighters, police, and EMTs. Another passion of mine is to treat women's issues, specifically fertility, postpartum, and prenatal, as I am trained via Postpartum Support International.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be your true, authentic self with no fear of being judged. Although I utilize a warm, compassionate, and humorous approach, I am here to also challenge and push you to become a healthier version of yourself. You may not be ready to face some challenges, but that is okay. We will take this journey at your pace. I utilize a person-centered approach, as you are the expert of your life. I specialize in EMDR, CBT, and SFT to aid individuals process trauma, anxiety, depression, chemical dependency and dual diagnoses. I also work with First Responders and athletes, in addition to women's issues such as fertility, postpartum, and prenatal concerns.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive space for you. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to better understand your background and current concerns, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to help you be or grow your authentic self within a warm, supportive, although challenging and direct space.
