Great to meet you!

Hi! I am Jenna and I am a licensed social worker. I love the work I do, the clients I see, and the growth made. Learning to trust someone is hard, but having to face difficult experiences alone can be even harder. I am here to help you make that journey (feel) easier, and help you grow at the same time. Using a holistic, person-centered approach, I will learn what makes you who you are, and will develop a unique treatment plan tailored to your needs. I enjoy working with individuals and couples, people of all orientations, and with military members and their families. I have experience working with individuals who are diagnosed with ADHD or display many of the symptoms, new mothers navigating the (heavy and impossible) postpartum world, and working with those who like to be challenged to meet their goals. I value support and validation but encourage solutions and change.

My approach to therapy

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and trauma, as well as bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and ADHD. I utilize psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and goal-oriented therapy. As much as I will challenge you, I will always support you and your choices. I want to guide, never direct.

What you can expect from me

As much as I will learn about you, I will encourage you to get to know me. It will be a privilege to be part of your life journey and help you overcome obstacles that have been holding you back. Our first session will look like a lot of questions, but they will hopefully allow me to learn about you and your experience. I always try to make sessions feel comfortable, relaxed, and within your control. Together, we will create a trusting relationship in a safe environment.
