I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I was a teacher in the public school system before receiving a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2018. I have worked with people with a variety of issues ranging from struggling with anxiety, depression, adult ADHD and family/parenting challenges to working with military families who are always in transition.
My approach to therapy is to listen with a compassionate and open mind and begin the process of finding coping mechanisms that will work for each individual to start on a healthier mental health path. I use a patient-centered approach incorporating Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as needed for each individual.
My goal for each client is to understand and embrace the strengths they have to overcome what challenges they face.
