Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience. My experience includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. My goal is to help you develop practical coping skills, recognize your strengths, and bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's individual needs, drawing on my experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. During sessions, we explore patterns that may be contributing to distress, challenge unhelpful thinking, identify personal strengths, and practice coping strategies such as grounding, relaxation, and effective communication. I consistently use these approaches to help clients build self-awareness, develop healthier responses to challenges, and make meaningful progress toward their goals. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to create lasting, positive changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is to create a welcoming, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe sharing your experiences and concerns. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring relevant personal history, and identifying what you hope to achieve. I’ll explain the therapeutic process, answer any questions you may have, and work collaboratively with you to establish realistic goals that reflect your individual needs. There is no pressure to share everything at once, as building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship takes time. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the steps ahead.
