Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan. I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2020 from Marist University in New York. I am DBT certified and specialize in treating borderline personality disorder, depression, grief, anxiety, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I believe all individuals have the capacity for change and can develop the tools to discover their purpose. I strive to create a space for clients where they explore what keeps them stuck in their old patterns, learning to make changes that allow them to discover personal meaning. I appreciate the strength and vulnerability it takes to engage in the therapeutic process. I have experience utilizing cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy, as well as mindfulness-based approaches.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I strive to learn about what you are processing in the present and what past experiences may be contributing to that. The most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship, and in the first session, we will begin to build trust, respect, and a sense of safety. We will establish treatment goals to help guide the process of the work.
