Great to meet you!

My goal is to create an empathetic, secure environment where you feel ready to face life's challenges. With an MSW and PhD from the University of Michigan, my 25-year career has been dedicated to both working in academia and doing therapy with individuals like you. This dual role as a university educator and practitioner allows me to offer a unique, interactive approach to treating anxiety, stress, depression and other areas that you want to focus on. This is your journey—I am here to provide the expert support and positive growth you are looking for.

My approach to therapy

I view my clients through a holistic lens, knowing that everyone is different. I am here to help you navigate the complex systems that impact your mental health. Our sessions our a safe, non-judgmental space, where we will prioritize your lived experience. My goal is to create a treatment plan that is unique to you and will provide you with the tools to grow in the ways you desire.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will help us build a therapeutic alliance where we will discuss your current challenges and history, but more importantly, we will define your goals. My aim is for you to leave the first hour feeling heard, understood, and with a clear sense of how our work together will help you move forward.

We will also discuss confidentiality and make a plan for what you want our work to look like.
