Great to meet you!

Therapy provided invaluable support when I went through a particularly difficult time in my life. I knew that I wanted to be that support for others who are struggling. I got my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston Victoria in 2018. I have worked in various settings, including hospital, residential treatment, and now private practice.

My approach to therapy

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in achieving a successful outcome in therapy. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental space where people feel seen, heard, and accepted. I do this by being "real" and not acting like I have all the answers. Therapy is a joint venture!

What you can expect from me

I want clients to leave sessions feeling like they understand themselves and others more than when they walked in. I want them to feel encouraged about their lives and hopeful for the future. I want them to feel a sense of relief at saying things out loud that they have always wanted to say but were afraid of the reaction they might get.
