Great to meet you!

My name is Jen, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I received my master's degree in social work from Adelphi University in 2016. I have a background working with individuals with anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, substance use, and trauma history. I work with both adults and adolescents.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as an equal partnership between the therapist and individual. I find that it is most important to let the individuals I am working with have control over their therapeutic experience. I believe it is important to guide the individuals I work with through their hardships so they have the tools to approach similar situations on their own in the future.

What you can expect from me

I try to provide a laid back and open minded environment for my clients. I want clients to come out of their sessions feeling like they are gaining confidence in themselves and building tools that will help their navigate their lives outside of therapy.
