Great to meet you!
I am a compassionate and collaborative clinical social worker dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges and move toward meaningful, lasting change. I hold a Master of Social Work from Simmons College, earned in 2017, as well as a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Sage Graduate School, earned in 2004. My professional background and specialized training have shaped a therapeutic approach grounded in empathy, strengths, and evidence-based practice. I specialize in supporting clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction and substance use concerns, ADHD, adoption and foster care experiences, parenting challenges, relationship and family concerns, and difficult life transitions. I also have specialized training in trauma-informed care, addiction treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, along with certification as a SMART Recovery Facilitator. In therapy, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe each person brings unique strengths and experiences to the therapeutic process, and I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, better understand patterns of thoughts and behaviors, and create meaningful change.
