Great to meet you!

When you're carrying anxiety, depression, grief, chronic stress, or the weight of a major life transition, it's easy to feel like you've lost yourself along the way. You may spend so much time caring for others, meeting expectations, or simply getting through each day that your own needs have taken a back seat. Therapy offers a place to slow down, take a breath, and focus on you.

For more than 30 years, I've helped adults and older adults navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, PTSD, panic attacks, family challenges, caregiving stress, end-of-life concerns, and major life changes. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel truly heard and supported.

Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop realistic tools that help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and peace of mind.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative partnership where you feel safe, respected, and empowered to create meaningful change. My role is to help you better understand yourself while providing practical tools you can use in everyday life not just during our sessions.

Every treatment plan is tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Depending on your needs, I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Positive Psychology, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Whether we're working through anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, PTSD, panic symptoms, caregiving stress, family relationships, or life transitions, we'll focus on developing healthier coping strategies, improving emotional resilience, strengthening self-confidence, and helping you build a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. Our first session is simply a conversation where we'll get to know each other, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and talk about what you'd like to see change in your life.

Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore your concerns, and begin creating a plan that feels both realistic and meaningful. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful with the reassurance that you don't have to face life's challenges alone.
