Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they can be honest without fear. I know what it looks like to need support and not know where to turn. That experience is part of why I show up the way I do: present, direct, and ready to work. I completed my master's degree at Argosy University in 2018. Since then I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of settings, including school-based therapy, community mental health, residential programs, telehealth, and partial hospitalization. That breadth of experience shapes how I approach every client. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. You know yourself better than I do. My role is to meet you where you are, bring some perspective and tools, and help you find what actually moves the needle. My training is in marriage and family therapy, so I think about each person in the context of their relationships, family history, and environment. Even in individual work, that lens matters. Whether you are managing anxiety, working through a difficult transition, navigating relationship stress, or dealing with something you have been carrying for years, I tailor sessions to what you actually need. I use a variety of approaches and pull from what fits you, not from a rigid formula.

My approach to therapy

Working with me looks different for everyone, and that is intentional. Some clients come in with a clear goal and want to get to work right away. Others need time to build trust before going deeper. I follow your lead. In our sessions, you can expect me to be honest with you. I won't tell you what you want to hear. I'll tell you what I think is useful. I also won't push you into things that don't feel right for you. If something isn't working, I want to know. We'll adjust. I have a lot of experience working with children and adolescents, including kids navigating school challenges, family changes, anxiety, and behavioral concerns. I also work with adults going through life transitions, relationship stress, and mood-related struggles. I am comfortable working with families as a unit, not just individuals in isolation.

What you can expect from me

I work best with clients who are ready to put in the effort, even if they are not sure where to start. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to show up. I have a particular passion for working with kids and teens, and for supporting parents who are trying to understand their child's behavior or emotional world. I also work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach draws from a variety of evidence-based methods, including family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques. I tailor the approach to the person, not the other way around. Outside of therapy, I value humor, honesty, and real connection. I bring all of that into my work.
