Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping adults navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, clarity, and balance. I earned my MSW from Adelphi University and have experience across inpatient mental health, outpatient mental health, private practice, and telehealth settings.

I specialize in working with high-functioning professionals, healthcare workers, leaders, caregivers, and parents who may appear to have everything under control on the outside while struggling with stress, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, self-doubt, or overwhelming responsibilities behind the scenes. Many of my clients are balancing demanding careers, relationships, family responsibilities, and major life transitions while trying to care for everyone except themselves.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood while also helping you develop tools and strategies that create meaningful change. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward goals that align with the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to growth and healing, so I work with clients to create a treatment approach that aligns with their goals, values, and stage of life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Behavioral Activation. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.

I take a direct yet compassionate approach, balancing insight with action. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, caregivers, healthcare workers, and parents who are seeking not only a space to process their experiences but also strategies to navigate stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges more effectively.

My goal is for clients to feel supported, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes that improve their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free conversation focused on understanding what brought them to therapy and what they hope to achieve. We'll explore the challenges you're facing, what's been working, what feels stuck, and the goals that matter most to you.

I work with many high-functioning professionals, caregivers, healthcare workers, and parents who are balancing significant responsibilities while managing stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, or relationship challenges. Our first session is an opportunity to step away from those demands and focus on your needs.

I'll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences while allowing space for you to share at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and practical next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of how therapy can support you moving forward.
