I am a trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a micro-credential (like a minor for undergrad) in serious illness and geriatrics. I specialize in helping older adults navigate life’s toughest challenges, including grief, serious illness, aging, and end-of-life issues. I am passionate about providing support during major life changes and helping people find peace and meaning in difficult times, no matter the age.
I utilize a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. The focus of my practice is to build skills through Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and solution-focused goal setting to increase emotion regulation and life satisfaction.
Grief comes in many forms, which are often overlooked and not given space to feel your feelings. I truly believe that people have the answers inside of them, but we are not always fully present, especially when we are in crisis.
