Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Alabama, with over 16 years of experience working with individuals, groups, couples, families, adults, and teens experiencing various life challenges, needs, and goals. My background includes working with those who have experienced issues/challenges related to substance abuse/addiction, interpersonal relationship dynamics, self-esteem/self-worth/self-care needs, mood disorders, life transitions, and behavior challenges.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself as a client-centered therapist, who believes in the health and wellness of the whole person and honoring autonomy. I also promote a genuine and authentic therapeutic space to help my clients to engage in dialogue, reflection, and processing of their individual needs, challenges, and goals.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist with my own therapist, I believe in the benefits of therapy, so I endeavor to help my clients gain skills to help them identify and reach their goals and needs. It is my belief that therapy is more than a space to talk, but also a space to learn through psychoeducation, integrative therapeutic interventions, and homework to increase one's potential to gain/regain a fulfillment and healing in their life/lives.
