Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Jennifer Nwaogu, a doctorally prepared family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. My nursing career began in 2005 and includes experience in ICU/PACU and clinical research.

I completed my advanced education Malone University in 2011 obtaining my MSN-FNP, UTEP obtaining my DNP in 2020, and Maryville University obtaining my PMHNP in 2021.

My goal is to provide a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable discussing your concerns. I value open communication and a collaborative approach, taking time to understand your symptoms, explain treatment options, and develop a plan that fits your needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I take time to listen and understand how your physical health, daily habits, and life experiences affect your mental well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session will focus on understanding your concerns and assessing your needs. We will review your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current medications, and goals for care to develop a treatment plan that is right for you.
