Great to meet you!

I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) providing compassionate, individualized psychiatric care for adults across a wide range of mental health concerns. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns, as well as those simply feeling overwhelmed or disconnected and looking for support in improving their overall wellbeing.

While I have specialized experience in psychiatric medication tapering and deprescribing, my practice focuses broadly on thoughtful medication management and collaborative mental health care tailored to each individual’s goals. I believe treatment should feel personalized, balanced, and sustainable, whether someone is exploring medications for the first time, reassessing their current regimen, or looking for a more supportive and holistic approach to care.

My appointments incorporate supportive, therapy-informed conversations, including discussions around coping skills, emotional regulation, stress management, habits, relationships, and navigating everyday challenges. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in treatment decisions.

I earned my graduate degrees from Adelphi University and bring experience across psychiatry, primary care, and integrative wellness settings. My approach is rooted in whole-person care, recognizing the connection between mental and physical health while prioritizing collaboration, education, and practical support.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe mental health is deeply connected to physical wellbeing, emotional health, relationships, stress, lifestyle, and life experiences. Rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses, I aim to understand the whole person and create a treatment plan that aligns with each individual’s unique goals, preferences, and values.

I work with clients across a wide range of mental health concerns and strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where people feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and believe meaningful progress often comes from feeling heard, understood, and actively involved in the treatment process.

Depending on your needs, care may include medication management, supportive and therapy-informed conversations during visits, coping skills, emotional support, and practical guidance around areas such as stress management, sleep, routines, relationships, and overall wellness. My goal is to help clients feel more stable, empowered, and supported in their day-to-day lives.

I also have specialized experience supporting individuals who are reassessing psychiatric medications, including those interested in careful medication tapering, deprescribing, or navigating withdrawal-related concerns. Any medication decisions are approached thoughtfully, collaboratively, and at a pace that prioritizes safety and long-term wellbeing.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect to feel heard, respected, and supported. I strive to create a space that is free of judgment or pressure, where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing your experience in full. Whether we’re exploring emotional patterns, discussing practical strategies, or checking in on progress, my goal is always to help you feel more grounded, clear, and confident in your next steps.

You’ll leave sessions with insights and tools that reflect your unique needs, whether that’s greater self-understanding, improved coping skills, thoughtful medication guidance, or a care plan that brings more balance to your everyday life.
