Great to meet you!

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, I work with adults who are navigating some of life's most demanding moments — trauma, ADHD, autism, life transitions, divorce, identity, career changes, and the particular weight that comes with military or veteran. experience. I hold a PhD in counseling, a Master of Social Work, and advanced certifications in trauma intervention and clinical supervision. I'm licensed in both Michigan and Pennsylvania and offer telehealth sessions that fit around real life — most weekdays and some evenings. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they work toward greater wholeness and well-being.

My approach to therapy

No two clients come in with the same story, so I don't use a one-size-fits-all method. My therapeutic approach integrates trauma-informed counseling, holistic wellness, nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and identity affirmation. I'm particularly drawn to working with neurodivergent adults (ADHD, autism), people navigating identity and belonging, and those carrying trauma they haven't had a safe place to process. I'm an affirming therapist — I work with LGBTQ+ clients, bisexual and non-binary individuals, and community members with intersecting identities.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we focus on what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to feel differently about. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we start. I'll ask questions and listen closely, and by the end we'll have a sense of what therapy together might look like. Most clients feel a sense of relief just having said what they came in to say. That's often where the work begins.
