Great to meet you!

I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Michigan with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life's most complex moments. My background in court advocacy and community social work has given me a deep respect for how hard people work just to keep it together, and how much courage it takes to finally put yourself first. I work primarily with adults who are navigating burnout, life transitions, anxiety, or the quiet sense that something needs to change, but are not quite sure where to start. I am building a small, intentional telehealth practice where every client gets my full attention. If you are looking for a therapist who is warm, real, and will meet you exactly where you are, I would love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, but I keep it human. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strengths-based frameworks, and trauma-informed principles to help you understand your patterns and build real tools for lasting change. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation, not a clinical checklist, so expect warmth, a little humor when the moment calls for it, and a pace that genuinely works for you. I am especially passionate about supporting people in midlife who are reimagining what their next chapter looks like and are ready to stop putting themselves last.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really a chance to get to know each other. I want to hear your story, understand what has brought you here, and get a clear sense of what you are hoping to feel differently about. By the end, we will have a shared picture of your goals and a loose roadmap for how we will work together. Most people leave that first session feeling a little lighter, just from finally having said out loud the things they have been carrying alone.
