Great to meet you!

I have always been a collector of stories. From as far back as I can remember, I’ve been driven by a deep curiosity about people—who they are, where they’ve been, and how they navigate the world. Today, I bring that same inquisitive spirit into every session. I believe that approaching your story with genuine curiosity, rather than judgment, is the essential foundation of the work we do together.

In our work, I view you as the expert on your own life. My role is to bear witness and hold up a mirror, helping you see yourself clearly so that you can make the decisions that are right for you. I think of myself as a fellow traveler—one who might occasionally hold the GPS, but always follows your lead.

Therapy can be heavy, and when we hit those difficult moments or feel "stuck," I believe in calling it out directly and gently. We will name the hard things together, back up when we need to, and—perhaps most importantly—find the humor along the way.

My approach to therapy

When we share space, you can expect an atmosphere that is open, warm, and nonconfrontational. I am a patient listener, and I aim to match your energy to ensure our sessions feel balanced and grounded. While I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and use it as a starting point to understand the "how" and "why" of your situation, I am first and foremost a person-centered therapist. I believe the clinical framework must evolve from a genuine human connection, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to see how well we work together. With a focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment, I will ask questions to better understand your needs. Together we will determine a focus and create goals to achieve throughout our time together.
