Great to meet you!

Life is a wild and wonderful adventure. And, it doesn't always go the way you want. I will work with you to help you navigate your world in a way that makes sense to you. I invite you to start looking at life from a place of curiosity. I invite you to be mindful of your experiences as they are happening now. I invite you to better understand yourself and how you relate to the life that you are living. Therapy is an exploration and a journey. I work with people from all walks of life. We will step out of the realm of traditional talk therapy and practice interacting in new ways during the session.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, which means that I strive to provide empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard consistently throughout the course of treatment.

There are two main ways that therapy works. One is through symptom management and the other is through addressing the underlying cause of the symptoms. I focus on the latter.

In session, I will utilize a mix of indirect and direct interventions in order to support you in reaching your goals.

What you can expect from me

You are the expert in your own life. My role is to understand what you are wanting for yourself well enough to be able to create a treatment plan that will help you explore and reduce the barriers to meeting your goals.

Together, we will explore potential areas for growth and healing. This is a collaborative process focused on understanding and supporting your well-being.
