Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Jenny Brady. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, accepting patients between the ages of 5 and 70. I hold a doctorate degree in nursing and am also certified as a family nurse practitioner, allowing me to bring a holistic approach to your mental health. I love working with a variety of people and hold a special place in my heart for first responders and members of our military.

My approach to therapy

Mental health and mental struggles are unique to each individual. I approach each patient and session with an open mind and truly listen to what you are telling me. Are you having trouble focusing? Are you having mood swings or difficulty sleeping? Are you anxious or so stressed you feel paralyzed? I want to ensure I understand your concerns and your goals, and together we will work towards accomplishing those goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I wil ask you many questions to ensure I understand your struggles, your history, and what you would like to improve. I will often assign neurocognitive testing as well to ensure a well rounded understanding of how your brain functions. I will dig in to what has worked and not worked for you in the past, and would love to learn more about the types of treatments you are most comfortable with. When you leave the first session you should have a solid understanding of next steps and how to reach me should you have any follow up questions.
