Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 years of experience, my approach blends a relaxed atmosphere with a clear, goal‐oriented structure. I’ll come to session with my coffee or tea in hand, and I hope you’ll settle in comfortably too. I view mental health as a long‐distance journey — one that requires patience, intention, and respect for the process. Each session follows an agenda designed to support your treatment goals, while still leaving room for anything you need to get off your shoulders. I’m excited to meet you and begin this work together.

My approach to therapy

My experience spans multiple settings and age groups, allowing me to adapt my approach to each client’s unique needs. I meet you where you are emotionally and mentally, honoring your pace while steadily supporting forward movement in your treatment goals. I check in periodically to make sure you feel aligned with your progress and to adjust our direction if needed. We look at successes, explore obstacles, and work together to reduce anything that may be holding you back. Clear, open communication is at the heart of my work, and it’s what helps us build a strong, collaborative partnership.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll slow things down and walk through your intake forms so I can get a clear picture of your background and what brought you in. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, your current struggles, and what you hope to accomplish. This helps me make an accurate diagnosis if needed and tailor your treatment to you. We’ll start building your treatment goals together, and if we need more time, we’ll finish them at your next visit. The first session is really about connection, clarity, and making sure you feel comfortable moving forward.
