Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Baptist College.
My professional background includes individual and couples counseling, trauma-informed care, posttraumatic growth, and extensive work with Veterans, first responders, and others who have experienced high-stress or life-changing events. As a U.S. Army Veteran, I bring both professional training and an understanding of military culture to my work with clients.
I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and struggles with purpose or direction. My counseling style is practical, collaborative, and straightforward. I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed techniques.
My goal is to provide a respectful and nonjudgmental environment where clients can better understand what they are experiencing, develop practical tools for change, and move toward healthier relationships, greater resilience, and a more meaningful life.
