Great to meet you!

I’m Jessica Ellington, a Board-Certified PMHNP dedicated to neuro-affirming care. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, Autism, the invisible load of motherhood, or the burnout that often accompanies them, I’m here to help you find your footing and move forward.

As an ADHDer and the parent of neurodivergent children, I know firsthand how deeply these unique neurotypes shape your life. My own early diagnosis helped me embrace my natural strengths, a perspective and privilege I now bring to helping my patients build lives that actually fit them.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach blends deep empathy with thorough neurobiological education. I want you to understand your brain as well as I do.

When we work together, you can expect:

  • A Deep Dive: I take the time to understand your unique wiring, challenges, and natural strengths.
  • No Guesswork: My medication approach is highly structured and precise.
  • Total Transparency: You will always know exactly what you are taking, how it works, and how we will measure its effectiveness."

What you can expect from me

Starting with a new provider is daunting, especially if you’ve spent years feeling misunderstood by the medical system. My goal for our first session isn't to rush through a checklist or force you to perform.

When we meet, here is what you can actually expect:

  • To Be Seen, Heard, and Respected: You are the expert on your own lived experience. My job is to listen without judgment, validate your reality, and hold space for whatever you are bringing to the table that day.
  • A Mutual Interview: Therapy and medication management work best when there is genuine trust. Our first session is a low-pressure space to figure out if we are a good fit, and if I am the right companion for your journey.
  • Clarity and Direction: While we move at your pace, you won't leave feeling lost. We will begin to map out the unique strengths and challenges of your brain, and you will walk away with a clear, transparent idea of what our path forward looks like.
