Great to meet you!

It's hard to watch your child struggle, especially when their big feelings come out as behaviors you don't quite understand. Whether your child is melting down, shutting down, acting out at school, or carrying worries that seem too heavy for their small frame, you are not alone and there is a path forward.

I work with children, tweens, and teens in Tulsa (in person and via telehealth across Oklahoma), specializing in anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and the emotional outbursts that leave families searching for answers. With 5 years of experience, I partner closely with caregivers throughout the process, because the work that happens at home matters just as much as what happens in our sessions.

My approach to therapy

Much of what shows up as difficult behavior is really a child's attempt to communicate something they don't yet have words for. In our sessions, we slow down to listen to what those behaviors are saying, then gently build the tools your child needs to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control.

I draw from play therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and family systems work, with Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) woven in for children with trauma and attachment histories. I meet every child where they are, developmentally and emotionally, and I keep caregivers informed and involved so that progress extends well beyond our time together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I spend time getting to know your child and your family. I'll ask what you're seeing at home, at school, and in relationships, and I'll give your child space to share in whatever way feels comfortable for them, whether that's talking, playing, or drawing. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin. My goal in that first hour is to understand where you are and make sure you feel like you've come to the right place.
