Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Clinical Supervisor, I bring over a decade of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling and have spent my career providing evidence-based therapy in outpatient and telehealth settings across Idaho. My professional background includes extensive work in trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting support, divorce adjustment, and stress management. I also supervise and train other clinicians, ensuring ethical, high-quality, and compassionate care.

My approach to therapy

I approach counseling as a collaborative and supportive process that empowers clients to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change. Whether through individual therapy, family sessions, or parent consultation, my goal is to provide a safe and authentic space for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is focused on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brought you to counseling. I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the very beginning.

During our first meeting, we’ll talk about what’s been happening in your life, what’s working, and what feels hard right now. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, and the areas you’d like to improve. Together, we’ll start identifying priorities and setting goals for your therapy.

I’ll also review practical details, such as confidentiality, your rights as a client, and what therapy typically looks like with me—including session structure, communication between appointments, and scheduling.

Most importantly, the first appointment is a space to make sure the fit feels right. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, solution-focused and trauma-informed, blending evidence-based techniques with genuine connection and curiosity. By the end of our session, my hope is that you’ll have a clearer sense of how we can work together and what your next steps might look like.
