Great to meet you!

Do you need help transforming challenges into opportunities? I can help you adapt, overcome, and thrive by doing just that. You can learn to let go of the past and welcome personal growth. You hold the potential for new beginnings.

I obtained a Bachelor's degree from University of Maryland University College in Legal Studies and Psychology. I then chose to further my education and obtained a Master's from Salisbury University in Social Work. After becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker, my journey continued as I became a fully credentialed Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical.

Having worked in child welfare, I helped adults and children navigate the aftermath of abuse and neglect. I believe in a trauma-informed atmosphere as that experience taught me that you can never be sure what one has experienced at any point in their life and the impact it has had on them. As a school social worker, I worked with individuals with various diagnoses that impacted their learning environment, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, PTSD, to name a few. I have a strong history working in family advocacy and with individuals navigating family law issues such as divorce, custody, and adoption, and have supported individuals recovering from traumatic auto accidents and medical issues. I have seen first-hand what many families experience on their worst days and have helped support them in their journey of healing and recovery and finding hope and peace. Let me help you do the same and support your journey toward lasting transformation, renewal, and growth. Together, we will discuss your treatment goals and determine an approach best suited for your desired outcome.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of fresh starts and the transformation towards a healthier mindset. Through my experiences, I have learned that change and healing can lead to profound personal growth and wellness, and I am here to share this journey with you.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we’ll talk about what’s currently troubling you, what you hope to change or improve, and what your expectations are for therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out; part of the work is figuring together what your goals and path forward might look like.

You’ll have space to ask any questions—about me, about therapy, how we’ll work together, what you’re unsure of. It’s normal to feel nervous or unsure about therapy, and I encourage you to speak those things out. It’s part of building a trusting relationship.

At the end of the session, we’ll often plan what the next appointment(s) will look like. We may identify some early tasks or topics to explore going forward. This gives you a sense of what the path ahead might be.
