Great to meet you!

I got my start as a music therapist and then returned to school for my master's in social work and have been practicing since 2014. I also have advanced training in substance use assessment and treatment and vocational evaluation. I have worked in hospital settings, community mental health teams, group therapy, and individual therapy. I have specialized training in trauma, dual diagnoses (mental health and substance use), and in working with LGBTQIA clients. I have also gained more recent experience in working with infertility, pregnancy loss, chronic health conditions, and parenting children with special needs.

My approach to therapy

I use a person centered approach working with clients on goals that they want to set and achieve in their lives. I have been trained in CBT, MI, ACT, IDDT, and EMDR. I also like to use creative outlets in treatment as well such as music, art, writing, movement, and bibliotherapy. I believe in treating the person holistically through all aspects of their life to improve their mental health.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect an empathetic and open-minded outlet to explore ways of working towards their own personal goals to improve their overall health, wellbeing, and relationships.
