Great to meet you!

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m both supportive and direct. I’m not someone who will just sit back and nod, I’ll actively help you connect the dots, challenge patterns that aren’t working, and move toward meaningful change.

At the same time, I understand how hard it can be to open up, especially if you’re used to being the one others rely on. I create a space where you can be honest about what’s really going on without feeling judged or rushed.

I also believe therapy should feel practical and relevant to your life. We won’t just talk about things; we’ll focus on helping you build tools and insights you can actually use outside of session.

And while I take the work seriously, I also believe therapy doesn’t have to feel overly formal or rigid. I’m human too, and when it fits, I may bring in a little humor or real-life perspective to help you feel more comfortable and at ease.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is personalized, practical, and focused on helping women make sense of what’s changing, especially during times when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or not quite like yourself.

In our work together, we slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. I take an active, supportive, and direct approach, helping you connect the dots, shift patterns that are no longer working, and build tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

If this resonates, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

What you can expect from me

Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re coming back to it, I’m really glad you’re here.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to feel out whether this is a good fit, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out.

We’ll start by talking about what’s bringing you in and what’s been feeling most difficult lately. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear starting point, I’ll help guide the conversation in a way that feels comfortable and manageable.

I’ll also ask some questions to better understand your background, current stressors, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. This helps me get a fuller picture of what’s going on and how I can best support you.

Most importantly, this is a space where you don’t have to hold it all together. You can be honest about what’s been weighing on you, even if it feels messy or hard to explain.

By the end of the session, we’ll start to identify a direction for our work together and talk about next steps, so you leave with a sense of clarity, not more overwhelm.
