Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.

My clinical background includes experience in adult psychiatry and pediatric mental health, working with children, teens, and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and school or social stressors. I use evidence-based medication management combined with psychoeducation, supportive guidance, and collaboration with therapists, schools, and families when helpful.

I’m drawn to this work because I genuinely enjoy connecting with young people and helping them grow into healthier, more confident versions of themselves.

My approach to therapy

I see myself as a guide: someone who helps you understand what’s going on, lays out clear treatment options, and talks through the pros and cons. I believe strongly in shared decision-making, and I respect that you know your self or your child and family best. Together, we build a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and comfort level.

Please note -- At this time, my practice does not prescribe controlled substances, including stimulant medications for ADHD. I am focusing on providing high-quality diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and non-controlled medication management.

As my practice grows, I anticipate revisiting this policy and may offer controlled-substance prescribing in the future if it becomes appropriate and feasible. I’m committed to transparency and will update patients as any changes occur.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on getting to know you or your child and your family—their strengths, challenges, and what matters most to you. I’ll ask questions about mood, behavior, school/work, and social life to get a full picture. I also take time to listen to your goals and concerns and answer any questions about treatment options. Together, we’ll begin exploring next steps, whether that involves supportive strategies, collaboration with therapists or schools, or medication management if appropriate.
