Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Jessica Ogunye, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I earned my Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences & I’ve worked extensively in affluent institutions focusing on transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), sleep studies, and schizophrenia protocols.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, mood disorders, and sleep-related concerns.

My approach to therapy

Hey, I’m Jessica, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and sleep difficulties. Whether you're in Washington, DC, Silver Spring, Bethesda, or Upper Marlboro, I offer telehealth sessions to meet you where you are.

This is a partnership! I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and how to move forward with clarity and confidence. I integrate evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and medication management, to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Every client brings a unique story. Whether you're a veteran navigating the lasting effects of service, a professional or parent facing burnout, or a student that's just overwhelmed, I see you and hear you. You don’t have to suffer in silence.

Here’s what I bring to our partnership:

• Deep understanding of mental health for Black & BIPOC communities

• Expertise in ADHD, anxiety, and trauma-informed care using cognitive-behavioral approaches

• Comfortable explaining how medications work, side effects, and helping you feel empowered in decisions

• Evening and early morning slots available for working professionals & students

Why work with me? You’re not just another chart. I believe in meeting you with humanity, consistency, and curiosity. My hope is that our work together supports greater clarity and steadiness over time.
