Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In therapy we will explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to understand what’s fueling your emotional patterns. I help you identify unhelpful thinking habits, and we practice replacing them with healthier, more balanced perspectives. I help you build practical coping tools and emotional regulation skills, such as grounding exercises, reframing unhelpful thoughts, and identifying your emotions. You will be able to handle stressful moments with greater ease. With time and practice, these strategies can strengthen your confidence, bring more clarity to your thinking, and help you maintain emotional balance even in challenging situations.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In our work together, I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you focus on your strengths, inner resources, and the small steps that can lead to meaningful change. Instead of spending a lot of time on what’s not working, we center our conversations on what you want your life to look like and what’s already helping you move in that direction. For example, if you come in feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward, I might ask you to imagine what life would look like if things suddenly improved overnight. From there, we’d explore the small signs that would tell you you’re making progress, and we’d build on the strategies and strengths you already have. This approach helps you set clear, realistic goals and take manageable steps forward, so you can create positive change with confidence and hope.
