Great to meet you!

I’m a dual-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner providing medication management for adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and women’s mental health concerns. I work especially well with people who are functioning well on the outside but feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, unfocused, or unlike themselves. I completed my graduate and post-graduate training at Duke University and have experience across outpatient, telehealth, and hospital-based care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based psychiatry. I look beyond symptoms alone to understand the broader factors that may be affecting your mental health, including sleep, stress, physical health, relationships, and daily routines. I believe treatment decisions should be made together, with clear communication about options, expected benefits, and potential side effects. My goal is to develop a plan that feels realistic, effective, and aligned with your priorities. I want you to feel heard, supported, and confident in the direction of your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get a clear picture of what you’re experiencing and what you hope to improve. We’ll review your symptoms, history, current medications, past treatment, sleep, stressors, and other factors that may be affecting your mental health. I’ll also ask about your goals and what has or hasn’t worked well for you in the past. From there, we’ll discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options, including medication when appropriate. You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation and a clear plan for next steps.
