Great to meet you!

I work with clients aged 5 to 24 on various concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, anger, life transitions, support for LGBTQIA+ populations, school-related issues, and more. I tailor my therapeutic techniques to your unique needs and interests, using methods such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, somatic awareness, play therapy, art therapy, nature-based therapy, and breathwork. I also incorporate psycho-educational resources, like books and stuffed animals, to engage children effectively. I enjoy discussing the neuroscience behind mental health and can explore EMDR further if it resonates with you. For children, I emphasize the importance of caregiver involvement, considering the whole family system in the healing process.

My approach to therapy

I am deeply passionate about this work and believe that you, as the client, are the expert in your own journey. My role as your therapist is to equip you with tools for well-being and resilience, guiding you along your natural path to healing. I take a strengths-based approach, ensuring that no matter the challenges you face, you will leave our sessions feeling more confident and authentically yourself.

What you can expect from me

I want you to feel seen and understood in our therapy sessions. When working with clients, I act as a part of your team. I want you to feel safe to explore all parts of yourself and ultimately heal from trauma, have less struggles in your daily life from anxiety and depressive symptoms and lean on that resiliency that you already have! I want to encourage you to lean into your strengths, recognize all of your goodness, so you can continue to flourish and enjoy your daily life.
