Great to meet you!

I am dual board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. After several years of clinical practice, I earned my doctoral degree in 2021. My experience spans both behavioral and family health settings, including hospital-based behavioral health units, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient care.

I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorder, and PTSD. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice and emphasizes holistic, collaborative care.

Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, goals, and values through a shared decision-making process.

I am committed to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and to addressing disparities in mental health care. If you’re struggling, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to support you with compassion, expertise, and care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe that effective treatment begins with understanding each person as a whole, mind, body, and environment. I take time to listen closely to your concerns, explore the factors that may be influencing your mental health, and develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals.

Medication management, when appropriate, is used thoughtfully and in combination with supportive therapy, lifestyle guidance, and education. I emphasize shared decision-making, where we discuss treatment options openly, and you play an active role in choosing what feels right for you.

I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma-related conditions. My goal is to help you gain balance, stability, and confidence in your daily life while fostering long-term wellness, not just symptom relief.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming and supportive space designed to help you feel comfortable and understood. We’ll start by getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to care. I’ll complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation that explores your mental health concerns, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, and lifestyle factors. This helps me gain a complete picture of your overall well-being.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for treatment, whether that’s improving mood, reducing anxiety, finding balance, or exploring medication options. You can expect an open, judgment-free environment where your voice is heard, your experiences are valued, and your input guides the direction of care.

By the end of the first session, my goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and hopeful with a clear understanding of the next steps in your treatment plan and the confidence that we’ll work together toward lasting wellness.
