Great to meet you!

A quality connection and trusting relationship between a client and therapist is the foundation to personal growth and healing. People are incredibly resilient when they have the support that they need. I've been working with people since I earned my bachelor's degree in 2000, and became a "therapist" in 2010 when I earned my master's. I've worked with children and adults in both rural and urban communities across the state of Michigan in residential, outpatient, and community-based programs.

If you are struggling and the support from your friends and family is not enough, then the formal support of a therapist can be helpful until you feel you can manage on your own again. In order to determine if I am a good fit for your needs, you and I will have to meet to see if we "connect."

My approach to therapy

In order to grow, you need to feel that you are really being heard. Quite often, people find their own solutions when they have the space to talk things out. I can offer alternative perspectives and ways to respond to your circumstances. The primary goal is that you build your own "skillset" to help you cope better even after therapy ends.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect that they will feel heard and that they have a sense of direction.
