Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and Licensed School Counselor. I hold a BA in Psychology from Montclair State University and dual master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from North Carolina Central University. My clinical background spans a crisis stabilization facility, a collegiate recovery program, and a psychiatric treatment center (PHP/IOP) — experiences that have shaped my ability to provide compassionate, effective support across a wide range of challenges. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy traveling, listening to live music, and writing.

My approach to therapy

I work with children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based — focused on empowering clients to build resilience, recognize their inner strengths, and develop practical tools to meet their personal goals. I am passionate about integrating mental health support into educational and community systems and creating spaces where every client feels truly heard and understood.

What you can expect from me

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, substance use, life transitions, relationship concerns, school-related challenges, and self-esteem. Whatever brings you in, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in building the skills and clarity to move forward. You can expect a warm, supportive space where your strengths — not just your struggles — are always part of the conversation.
