Great to meet you!

I’m an open, curious, creative, and compassionate therapist who believes therapy works best when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment, pressure, or needing to have everything figured out. Life can feel overwhelming, confusing, isolating, or exhausting at times, and I believe you deserve a place where you can slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.

I work collaboratively with clients to better understand what is getting in the way of the life they want to live. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, grief, self-esteem concerns, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I want therapy to feel grounded, practical, supportive, and meaningful to your real life.

I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, creativity, and connection in the therapy process. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying things on your own or taking care of everyone else first. My hope is that our work together feels approachable and empowering rather than clinical or intimidating.

My background includes using evidence-based approaches while also recognizing that every person’s story, culture, identity, relationships, and experiences are unique. I work to tailor therapy to your individual needs instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, build insight, improve communication, increase self-awareness, and help you move toward the version of yourself and your life that feels more aligned, balanced, and fulfilling.

Above all, I want clients to know they do not need to go through difficult experiences alone. Therapy can be a space for healing, growth, reflection, self-discovery, and learning how to care for yourself in deeper and more sustainable ways.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and individualized. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where we work together to better understand your experiences, identify your goals, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable and supportive for you. I strive to create an environment where you feel emotionally safe, respected, heard, and encouraged to be fully yourself.

In our work together, I may ask thoughtful questions to help explore patterns, emotions, relationships, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to current challenges. I use evidence-based tools, strategies, assessments, and therapeutic approaches while also recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all. I aim to balance insight, emotional processing, practical coping strategies, and skill-building so therapy feels both supportive and useful in your everyday life.

Depending on your needs and goals, therapy may focus on increasing self-awareness, managing anxiety or stress, improving emotional regulation, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, building healthier boundaries, improving communication, or developing greater confidence and self-compassion. I also believe it is important to recognize and build upon your existing strengths rather than focusing only on problems.

I understand that vulnerability can feel difficult, especially if you have had experiences where you felt misunderstood, dismissed, or unsupported. Because of this, I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, patience, and openness. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel accepted while also being gently challenged toward growth.

My goal is not to “fix” you, because I do not believe people are broken. Instead, I want to support you in gaining insight, developing tools, processing experiences, and creating a life that feels more connected, grounded, and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to feel welcoming, supportive, conversational, and centered around getting to know you as a whole person rather than just a list of symptoms or problems. Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, including nervousness, uncertainty, hope, or even relief, and I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.

During our first session, we will spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will ask questions to better understand your background, relationships, current stressors, emotional experiences, strengths, and goals. There is no pressure to share everything immediately, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

The first session is also an opportunity for us to begin building trust and determine whether we feel like a good fit to work together. I encourage openness, curiosity, and collaboration throughout the process, and I welcome questions you may have about therapy, my approach, or what future sessions may look like.

Clients can expect warmth, compassion, attentiveness, and genuine curiosity from me. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how therapy can help. Together, we will begin identifying goals, exploring patterns, and creating a path forward that feels realistic, empowering, and aligned with what matters most to you.
