Great to meet you!

You are not your symptoms! I obtained my doctorate to practice and research five additional years of evidence -based ways of healing. I ave been weel-trained in CBT & Creative Arts, Adlerian - early relationships, & Gestalt therapy, EMDR, and EFT. I help my clients practice the freedom from negative thoughts/feelings. using Positive Psychology.

I see ages 5 - 95. The focus of treatment is YOU. I work with trauma, co-dependency, anxiety (OCD, PTSD, C-PTSD), Recovering from SUD (familiy primary), Separation/Divorce, Spiritual Issues, LD/ADD & depression.

My approach to therapy

I bring all that I am and ever have been to your therapy. Just like you, I have sought healing. I want to give back now.

I love hearing about depression lifting and anxiety being relieved. I use many resources, EMDR, EFT, somatic exp., nature-informed & play therapy, meditation, music, and puppetry, all non-judgemental approaches. I'm privileged to work as a clinician, professor, supervisor, author, workshop instructor, and Puppet Therapist. I believe community is part of feet forward. Let's GO!

What you can expect from me

My clientele design a goal that is most immediate, goals that are reasonable and doable in the time between sessions. Practice and "trying something on for a bit" can lead to a more permanent change. Gratitude and acceptance are gifts that make unthinkable gains a reality. Clients know compassion for themselves and a more confident sense of self and who they want to be in the world. Hope is reignited in lives that have felt heavy or stuck. There can be a new union of body, mind and spirit, either a totoally new self, or a return to the TRUE self.
