Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, particularly supporting individuals navigating trauma recovery, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions.

My background includes working in nonprofit settings with survivors of intimate partner violence, where I provided case management, support groups, and later, individual therapy. I have also worked closely with children and families navigating traumatic and life-altering events, offering immediate emotional support and ongoing therapeutic care. I’ve worked with clients ranging from age 6 through adulthood.

My goal is to provide a steady, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are and feel genuinely supported. My sessions are conversation-based and collaborative. We’ll talk openly, explore difficult or heavy subjects when needed, and move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. You don’t have to filter your emotions here. I will support you through the hard moments while helping you build tools for lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and trauma-informed approach to therapy. While CBT is a primary framework I use, I tailor treatment by integrating strengths-based, solution-focused, and creative interventions to meet your specific needs. My goal is to provide both emotional support and practical tools that promote lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and information-focused first session. It will feel more like a guided conversation than an interview. You’ll have space to share your story, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain.

My role is to listen, understand, and begin identifying patterns and goals. By the end of the session, we’ll collaborate on a clear and supportive plan to help reduce symptoms and move toward meaningful progress.
