Great to meet you!

A seasoned clinical social worker with over ten years of experience in the mental health field. My passion is helping clients overcome their emotional and psychological challenges and empowering them to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Graduate of Michigan State University and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, ISTDP, CBT, DBT, Trauma and Brainspotting, I use a person-centered approach to therapy to help clients develop self-awareness and coping strategies to help facilitate resilience to life's daily stressors. Providing individualized therapy to clients with diverse backgrounds, needs, and symptoms. I have a proven record of building rapport, trust, and collaboration with my clients, while delivering positive and lasting outcomes.

My approach to therapy

I tend to use different approaches to individualize therapy and tailor the treatment according to each client's needs, focusing on strengths. I am trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma.

What you can expect from me

The intial appointment, a client can expect to engage in an intake session where questions about the client's background, reasons for seeking therapy, and goals for treatment will be asked. This session is also an opportunity for the client to ask questions and assess if they feel comfortable with the therapist.

Overall, the first appointment is designed to gather information, set expectations, and begin building a trusting relationship. Clients should approach this session with openness and curiosity, as it lays the groundwork for their therapeutic journey.
