Great to meet you!

Maybe you're the one holding everyone together, or maybe you're watching your child or teen struggle and aren't sure how to help. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and the everyday stress of family life. I look at the whole picture, because both our biology and our circumstances shape how we feel. Much of my work is with women carrying many roles at once, and with families trying to find their way back to each other. My style is warm, genuine, and engaging, and I'm deeply committed to the care I give. Family is of utmost importance to me. I'm married with three children and four grandchildren, and when I'm not working you'll find me traveling, cheering for my local sports teams, or relaxing in Northern Wisconsin.

My approach to therapy

I believe the relationship between us is the most important part of successful therapy. That's why I aim to create a relaxed, comfortable environment where you can explore your thoughts, frustrations, and behaviors without fear or shame. Together we will break free from the patterns that feed anxiety and depression, heal from pains of the past, and build the resilience to feel stronger when challenges come. You'll leave with new skills and insights you can actually use. We work best together if you want someone warm and engaged in your corner, and you're ready to change the behaviors that hold you back so you can live a more meaningful, connected, and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

I look forward to meeting you. In our first session, we'll talk through what brought you here, clarify your goals for our time together, and sketch out a plan for where we go next. Whenever you're ready, I'd be glad to hear from you.
