Healing begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. As a compassionate, client-centered counselor, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore life's challenges, identify your strengths, and develop meaningful strategies for lasting growth. My approach is collaborative. I meet you where you are and partner with you to help you navigate obstacles, restore balance, and create a path toward greater emotional well-being. Together, we will connect the bridges of your life to new opportunities, healthier choices, and a brighter future.
My professional training is grounded in evidence-based practice and enriched through advanced education and professional development at North Carolina A&T State University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University. I integrate current research with practical, individualized therapeutic interventions to provide care that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and tailored to each client's unique needs.
My areas of specialization include life transitions related to the situational isolation, individual and couples counseling (premarital and marital), women's issues across the lifespan, emerging adulthood (ages 17–21), college transitions, retirement, grief and loss, sexuality, gender identity, sexual health concerns, and culturally responsive counseling for individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages 21-100.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, relationship challenges, depression, grief, trauma, or significant life changes, my goal is to empower you with the insight, skills, and confidence needed to move forward with clarity and resilience. Together, we will develop a personalized plan that helps you overcome today's challenges while building the tools necessary to thrive in the future.
