Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Social Work in 2006 and have 17 years of clinical experience, I work with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s individual goals and strengths. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients build insight, strengthen relationships, develop coping skills, and heal from past experiences. I work closely with clients to support the meaningful changes they want to see in their lives and to create a safe, respectful space for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and welcoming space to share their background, current concerns, and goals for therapy. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings them to therapy, and answering any questions they may have about the therapy process. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and creating a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. I also typically provide reflection exercises, coping strategies, or other work to practice between sessions to help support growth and progress outside of therapy.
