Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m John! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with 12 years of experience working with children and adults in both individual and couples counseling. I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and have spent a significant portion of my career focusing on behavior management. My treatment areas include, but are not limited to, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and social skills development.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel supportive and empowering, so you get to steer the conversation while I help guide, encourage, and cheer you on. My goal is to create a space that’s warm, relaxed, and real—where we can focus on what matters most to you and work together toward the goals, you’re ready to reach.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other and gathering a bit of background about what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk through what’s been going on in your life and explore any goals you’re hoping to work toward at your own pace. This session is also very much for you—feel free to ask me questions about my approach, therapy in general, or anything else that’s on your mind. Finding the right fit matters, and I want to make sure you feel comfortable, supported, and confident moving forward together.
