Great to meet you!

My passion and area of expertise lie in supporting children and teens through challenging transitions and the stresses of everyday life. I started my mental health career in 2012 as a behavioral health professional supporting children and families in their homes and communities. From 2015 to 2022 I held several positions in residential treatment including direct support provider, clinical case manager, and program clinician. I spent two years working as a middle school social worker helping students develop social-emotional skills and advocating for their educational needs. Since then I have been providing outpatient counseling through a community-based health center to individuals of all ages.

My approach to therapy

I mainly use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a relational approach in sessions, with a particular focus on issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and parenting skills.

What you can expect from me

I want you to leave sessions feeling lighter than when we began. My aim with every client is to foster a safe, supportive environment for you to be able to be open, vulnerable, and confident that we are on the same page. While most of my therapy goals are focused around developing skills and changing behaviors, you’re the captain. You set your goals and you decide how you want to meet them. My role is to support you on your journey to mental well-being.
