Great to meet you!

I work with adults, young adult and teens navigating struggles with ADHD, substance use, anxiety and depression. I bring 10 years of private practice experience along with over 15 years of broad experience working in mental health.

My approach to therapy

No one approach works for everyone in every situation. Depending on what you’re struggling with, therapy can be as brief as a few sessions to longer term work. Longer term work often involves carefully and intentionally increasing our understanding and insight into where the problems began, and then working on ways to heal and grow from these experiences. Some of the main tools we use are based in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and mindfulness work.

What you can expect from me

No one approach works for every person in every situation. When we meet we work to identify areas of struggle but also areas of strength. We work to systematically address these areas to work towards long term, sustainable change. We’re often working on building healthy internal and external structures. Working to improve what’s going on inside by becoming a better and more empathetic coach or parent to ourselves, while also pushing ourselves to grow and make effective long term external changes in our lives.
