Great to meet you!

I have spent my whole life serving people in one way or another. My most recent two decades have been as a licensed therapist with individuals, couples, & families. For years I travelled to different counties in Oklahoma with a community service organization. I have a strong interest in marital & relational therapy, including dating partners, pre-marital couples & married couples. I use Systems Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & other approaches.

My approach to therapy

As a practical, interactive therapist, my approach is to provide support & strategic feedback to help clients resolve current problems & long-standing patterns. With sensitivity & compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges & psychological issues. Blending conventional & alternative approaches, I draw on a variety of styles & techniques, incorporating what will be best for each client and help them build on their strengths to identify & achieve life goals.

What you can expect from me

Most people like being heard. I like to reflect my impression of what I heard. Then I give people an opportunity to clarify their meaning. Clear communication is important. I also have a number of resources that help people to make some real differences in their lives.
